This is really funny. I love the complete breakdown. I never gave thought to my spiritual life in 2020. But I am already doing better this year. Less rejections because you weren't ready to move, that shows how good your employers are. Are you working with a Nigerian company? Overall, you had a good year but going to have better years ahead. 2021 will be greater
Thanks for your kind words joseph. I currently work with a company in the US. And yes, it was a good year for me, bants aside.
some other ride-hailing company that is yellow in color.
This is hilarious.
I am glad you were able to grow spiritually in 2020. That's not something a lot of tech people talk about so it was really good to read it here. 2020 was great for you but I know 2021 will be better for you. Cheers to more.
๐น๐น I remembered after I had put it up, max.ng but I'm not changing that line.. yes, more growth to all of us โบ๏ธ
Yeah, I kinda figured you were actually referring to max.ng lol.

Tule Joor!!!
My Dad!!!! I'm so proud of you. Kept smiling as I read through to the end๐ฅบ๐๐ค And laughed as well๐ First, I'm proud that you're now a pastor๐ฅ Then financially, ๐ it's you that understands that English. Anyway I'm happy for you dad. ๐ฅบ๐2021 review is gonna be way better than this๐
Lmao... Relax dearest, I'm not a pastor ๐น๐น๐น.. Thanks baby, looking forward to your review, don't snooze!โบ๏ธ
Omoh
It's like every family implemented this style of morning devotion. Though mine was evening devotion ๐ .
The tech industry is changing fastโbut not in the way most people think. By 2026, success in engineering wonโt be about chasing the newest tools or stacking buzzwords on a rรฉsumรฉ. It will be about depth, ownership, and usefulness. Hereโs a grounded l...

Funny title, but that's the reality from January to December. So, you're here to hear some gist about my 2023, say less. First I just want to take a moment to laugh small, ๐๐๐๐ why? the plans I had for 2023 come be like say na small pikin write a...

My year in review article. Happens to be my first time doing this, motivation coming from the fact that the majority don't find this necessary, feels good to be part of the odd though. I'll just go through strong points I can recall and talk about how good or bad it went this year. Hold on tight, because omoh!!
About this, I had no career path switch, still your tech bro. Did not change companies either, I do love, where I work because the flexibility here is second to none. Personally, I do not plan to leave any time soon being honest ( no mean say if google calls me I no go pick oooh! ๐คช), it's really that great.
I learned new tools (adonisjs, vue, Codeigniter, etc) and languages ( solidity and python) during the lockdown and improved existing skills ( Typescript, react, node).
Well, well, well... I come from a Christian ( Proudly a redeemite, RCCG) background for starters. So this year, thanks to the corona thing and lockdown, my Dad made an adjustment to morning prayers, meaning everyone gets to take a day to lead prayers, read and explain devotions, and all of that, mine was usually on Thursdays. Every Wednesday night my thoughts are always "let me not mess up tomorrow morning", lmao ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ. I also joined the believers class in the church ( An RCCG thing for new children of God like myself). So, it's a big win for my spiritual growth.
Yeah, earlier this year I took it up to hit the gym because I've always wanted to since secondary school and it looks good on me ( rubbish ๐๐). I did it for two months consistently before corona came and I stopped then resumed November this year. Then, I cared less about carrying bushy hair and went low cut.
I made a number of friends and lost a few due to unforeseen circumstances. God bless the real one out there, shout out to Kelly, you've been amazing and annoying !! I made priceless connections with top persons, locally and internationally.
Opor yeh yeh! Darz all!! I saved alot, alo , al, a.
Lot's of heartbreak and disappointments, only made me stronger. Learned to love who loves me.
None, I still look forward to doing more of this in the coming year. Although not a fan of crypto.
Got a new and way better laptop, an extra screen to boost performance, a game console ( which I've not played up to 10 times), an earpiece ( ๐๐ ). I'm still mad at myself because i felt getting a console would help kill boredom, but if i tell you where i kept this thing now ehh, far from reach, lol.
Thanking God I did not lose any close friend or family member. Got rejected by gitstart, Github stars, and some other ride-hailing company that is yellow in color. Was not prepared for any though, because I had no plans to join a new company. Less rejection mail in my inbox.
Corona Kept me lockdown with y'all. My movements were just to neighboring states.
I was mostly healthy this year, with no hospital visits, my only sickness came from over-stressing myself which I've learned to tackle.

Started this year with no plan, but amazing how much I had achieved. It's been an amazing year, everything worked for my good even during the lockdown, it's been a big year for myself, my family, and friends. Also, cannot forget my guys that landed amazing jobs, shout out to Prosper ( @kodekage ), I was super excited about his, felt like it was my success. Shoutout to everyone who kept on referring me for side projects, never ran out of one all year long. This is the much I can remember about the year 2020.
Mostly building some fintech startup and skilling up to remain relevant in the industry and helping more people, So help me God! ๐ฅ๐ฅ
